Nicest guys EVER.  Found out Smitty lives near us and my 8 year old is seriously trying to stalk him.

As usual, the amazing Rilan.

I had been listening to Elvis radio all week and scouring the internet for James Dean images which definitely put me in a mood for these shots.

This past spring I had the opportunity to shoot a set of covers for the tween girl’s magazine Discovery Girls as well as some features.

I never shoot little ones anymore and any one who knows me will laugh to see me post little bitties twice in a row. I am not one of those people with that magic touch with the toddler set. Most of my work is 4 and up. The kids I work with LOVE my husband, however, and he gets drug out against his will all the time on shoots. He has the touch. I do not.

But pretty babies are pretty babies and even I can’t mess that up.

This fall, I shot a series of New Orleans images for Meagan and Matt’s November wedding. I love, love, love the finished product. The cherry on top was attending the nuptials and reception and seeing these two fun loving people begin their journey together. It made me feel a little nostalgic. Bryan and I are 10 years ahead of them and I did a lot of “awww, do you remember when we…” to him. I don’t think he’ll go to a wedding with me again. I was that annoying.

I also want to add that I ate sooooo much of the most amazing food. I literally ate an embarrassing amount of shrimp and grits.

I almost put rolls in my purse.

Seriously, I’m RIDICULOUS. I’ve been a bad, bad blogger. Christmas is always a crazy time and I certainly experience a lapse in my commitment to my posting duties. However, I’ve taken it to new heights this year. Oh, lazy Amber.

Stay tuned, if you have been kind enough to be faithful in your visits here. I have a ton of little funs and pretties to post, including some of my favorite images to date.
